Description
Gibbs was a popular and prolific illustrator and author. He became a screenwriter and transformed many of his more than fifty novels into early Hollywood films. A frequent contributor to Lady’s Home Journal and the Saturday Evening Post, he is credited with creating the cover format and logo design for the latter. Gibbs often worked in pastels.
