Tours & School Trips

PhilARTdelphia, Woodmere's educational programs that use visual arts as a learning tool, is designed to introduce school-age audiences to the world of art, art appreciation, and art-making. Programs accommodate a diversity of learning styles and are designed for pre-school to high school students.

Programs can use a combination of on-site learning at Woodmere, including engaging discussions, activities and art-making, as well as follow-up visits by educators to your school. Discovery programs can be adapted to specific curriculum needs, students' ages and abilities.

On-site tours of Charles Knox Smith Hall &   Frances M. Maguire Hall

Guided tours by trained docents are available. Reservations are required, at least three weeks in advance, by completing the form or contacting the Education Department by emailing amonroe@woodmereartmuseum.org or calling 215-247-0476. A team member will follow up to confirm & schedule your tour. There is a flat fee of $35 per docent (up to fifteen adults per docent at Smith Hall, or up to ten adults per docent at Maguire Hall) in addition to admission. There is an additional charge for extra docents.
