Description

Pinto lives and works in New York, but she was born into a distinguished family of Philadelphia artists. Her father, Angelo, as well as her uncles Biaggio and Salvatore were distinguished artists favored by Dr. Albert Barnes. Pinto studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) and was a critic in its graduate program. Her work is represented in many public and private collections, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, PAFA, the Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the National Gallery of Art, and Woodmere.
