Description
Mayerson was an original member of the abstract artist collective known as Group ’55. He participated in three of its exhibitions. Little is known about his art training except that he was a student of Sam Feinstein. After 1957 there is no evidence of further activity with Group ’55 or in other Philadelphia exhibitions.
