Description

Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, Gorka served for three years in Army intelligence. He received a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to attend graduate school at the University of Munich and New York University. He studied music and attended business school, and spent three years at the Art Students League in New York before enrolling at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). His work is in several collections, including PAFA, the Museum of Fine Arts in Springfield, Massachusetts, and Woodmere Art Museum.
