Quinn, Edmund Thomas
Description
Quinn studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) under Thomas Eakins. Following Eakins’s forced resignation, Quinn followed him to the Art Students League of Philadelphia, and later became the curator of the school. He exhibited regularly at PAFA, the National Academy of Design, and the Art Institute of Chicago. His work was included in the Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Francisco in 1915.
