Description

Fine studied at the Philadelphia College of Art (PCA and now the University of the Arts) and the University of Pennsylvania. She taught studio art at PCA before starting her curatorial career. She worked at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC, where she held several posts, including, most recently, Curator of Special Projects in Modern Art. During her distinguished career, Fine organized numerous exhibitions of contemporary American art and was elected chair of the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation. She publishes widely and serves on the boards of several art organizations.
