Description

Visco has received national and international acclaim as an artist of liturgical and religious subjects. He is the founder and director of the Atelier for the Sacred Arts in Philadelphia where he does commissioned works and offers professional services as a devotional art consultant. Upon graduation from the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) he was the recipient of the Fullbright–Hayes Grant to travel and study in Italy, where he attended studios at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence. He taught at the University of the Arts and at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Since 2004 he has held the position of fine arts coordinator for the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
