American

Description

Walton was an admired conceptual artist in Philadelphia who did not date his work; in this way, he felt the work of art would be constantly fresh, with no date to anchor it in time. Walton taught at Drexel University and Moore College of Art and Design. His work has been included in exhibitions at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Institute of Contemporary Art, and Locks Gallery, among others.
