Class policies
Learn more about what to expect when you visit Woodmere's studios for a Class or Workshop. Woodmere is committed to ensuring the best possible visit experience for all. Please take a moment to review these policies before attending a class.

Laptop, desktop computer, or iPad (iPhones and Android devices will also work, although on a smaller scale)
Webcam (most modern computers and tablets have this built in, or you can connect one to your computer via a USB plug in or wireless Bluetooth)
Microphone (most newer computers and tablets have this built in
Optional: Headphones/Earbuds (these are recommended to help increase audio clarity and reduce unwanted audio feedback)
Strong and reliable internet connection

Before beginning your online class or event, it is recommended that you view the following Zoom tutorial to become familiar with the steps for joining a meeting.

To ensure Woodmere members receive their discount benefit, members must be logged into their online accounts prior to registering. Membership discounts on classes and workshops are applied automatically upon registration checkout.
Classes can be purchased:
- Online: Register for Woodmere’s classes or workshops online here. Online registrations require payment by credit card. Woodmere members must log into their online accounts prior to registering to ensure they receive their class discount members’ benefit, click here for instructions on how to sign in. Credit card payments will be processed immediately upon registration and confirmed via automated email. Woodmere accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Payment with personal checks or cash will be processed upon receipt and confirmed via automated email.
- In person: Visit a front desk associate to register for a class or workshop. Class registration can be paid via cash, check, or credit card.
- By Phone: Students may register by calling Amanda Monroe at 267-691-0725. Phone registrations require payment by credit card only.
- By Mail: By check only. First, please call or email Amanda Monroe (267-691-0725, amonroe@woodmereartmuseum.org) with class information and send check payments to: Education Department, Woodmere, 9201 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118.
If a student would like to withdraw from a class or workshop to receive a refund, they must contact Amanda Monroe at amonroe@woodmereartmuseum.org or 267-691-0725 by the following deadlines:
Up to seven (7) days before the first day of class: 100% of the class cost will be refunded
Six (6) days prior to the first class: 75% partial refund of the class payment
No refunds will be processed after a class begins. Woodmere cannot provide refunds or pro-rate class fees for student absences.
Woodmere reserves the right to cancel any classes or workshops due to insufficient enrollment. Woodmere will be in contact at least three days prior to the start of a class or workshop to notify students of a cancellation and students will be refunded in full.
Once a class has begun, Woodmere reserves the right to cancel a class date due to inclement weather or other emergencies. In this case, students will be notified by Museum staff as soon as possible. Depending on the instructor and studio space availability, make-up classes will be scheduled. If a make-up class cannot be arranged, students will be offered a refund for the missed class. Refunds for cancelled classes will be issued upon the completion of the course.
