Description

Siegl experimented with a variety of printmaking techniques—woodblock, linoleum block, etching, even plaster block—within the same work of art. This is a thank you card the artist made for her friends. She writes, “To Ann & Jerry, Thank you for a wonderful evening!” A small, dragon-like creature offers a flower as a token of gratitude. Although we usually think of dragons as ferocious and perhaps scary, this creature appears charming and friendly.
