Description

A view from the bank of a stream, a figure is show seated at by low falls, fishing, as a smaller individual stands nearby beside a blossoming tree. Budding trees amidst the emerging life of spring. A wooded mountain is farthest in the distance, making the three white houses before it seem small by comparison. Pale pastel tones defines the works palette. This abstracted landscape was painted while the artist was teaching at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Summer School in Chester Springs
