Description

Loose, sure brushstrokes dictate this work of Walter Baum. An autumnal landscape features trees with various amounts or loss of foliage that serve to decorate the landscape with a wide variety of color and forms. Wonderful color decisions can be found throughout the work -chiefly in the direct application of red amongst the deep greens of the tree in the top right and in the soft gradation of the distant hills from green to orange, activated as it reaches the blue horizon.
