Description

The three graces represent charm, beauty, and creativity and they hold hands as if dancing a minuet. Melded together from leg to leg, they are connected calf to shin   to a quizzical male figure who pinches the nearest figure. He appears to be testing whether the figures are real. Bubbles float through the composition, causing distortion and suggesting the transitory nature of beauty in this strange pink world.

Adams was born and raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studied at Carnegie Mellon University, obtaining a BFA in 1983. In 2000 he earned an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts
