Description

Maitin’s playful assemblage, made of painted and folded canvas, wood, and found objects, is an unusually gestural and expressionistic work in the spectrum of the artist’s career. He is better known for forms in two and three dimensions that are biomorphic, but hard-edged and lively with vibrant color.
