Description

In this large abstract work, Keene intertwines thick black lines, organic shapes, and loosely defined imagery that suggest organic forms, tears, and chains. A self-described “abstract realist,” Keene creates a complex, emotive arrangement of dramatic color, simplified shapes, and veiled figuration.
