Ciliberti, Michael V.
Description
Ciliberti studied at the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, the Barnes Foundation, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Ciliberti was a member of two abstract artist collectives, Group '55 and the Philadelphia Abstract Artists, formed in the mid-1950s. Over time he moved from fully abstract work to impressionistic scenes of nature in Maine; Cape May, New Jersey; and Philadelphia parks. His art is in the collection of Bates College, Lewiston, Maine, as well as many private collections.
