Description

Krause was born in Philadelphia and attended the Philadelphia College of Art (now the University of the Arts). He has received many awards, including a Fulbright, Guggenheim fellowships, and grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. His photographs are in museum collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
