Description
Born in Seattle, Mangione trained at Philadelphia’s Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial and Barnes Foundation, as well as in Europe. She taught at the Fleisher Art Memorial and received the Artists Equity Award for artistic contribution to the cultural spirit of Philadelphia and outstanding teaching. Her paintings have been shown at the Museum of Modern Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Woodmere Art Museum, and other museums across the country.
