Thurin studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the University of Pennsylvania. Her work has been exhibited at numerous galleries and museums, including Woodmere Art Museum, Gross McCleaf Gallery, the Main Line Art Center, and the Philadelphia Sketch Club.
