Description

Layers of bold color and flowing brushstrokes compose this portrait of the artist’s husband, abstract painter Benjamin Passione. A full rainbow of hues infuses the painting with a sense of playfulness. A streak of teal extends from the figure’s right ear to his neck, which falls under an orange and red shadow. The yellow and orange of his ear contrasts with the cool blues and purples of his hair. He casts a stark green shadow on the yellow wall behind him.
