Description

Swirling, delicate lines enliven this still life by Vera White. A self-taught artist, White traveled all over the world and had successful exhibitions in London, Paris, and Philadelphia. In New York she had solo exhibitions at the Ferargil, Seligman and Marie Sterner galleries, as well as with Paul Durand-Ruel -who also exhibited Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, Paule Gobillard, and Carroll S. Tyson, Jr.
