Description

Lee created this work through a technique known as knotting. The image is made through a series of knots of multicolored embroidery floss over a free-hanging linen warp. Lee appropriated the likeness of biblical heroine Judith from a well-known painting by Viennese artist Gustav Klimt (1862–1918).
