Children and teen Classes and Workshops

Our kids and teens art programs encourage young artists to explore their creativity through fun, hands-on projects in a variety of mediums. Classes are designed to inspire self-expression, develop artistic skills, and foster a love for art in a supportive and engaging environment.

Students will explore the sculpture gardens at Woodmere for inspiration to create vibrant 3D works using a variety of art materials. Using mediums such as clay, paper mache, cardboard, beads and wire, students will explore how to make kinetic art that moves, form with clay, and build exciting sculptures. Adding paint and vibrant colors will bring their sculptures to life and captivate every budding artist. All materials included. Dress for mess!

Students will become creators and curators by constructing their own diorama of a miniature museum. Each class will be spent developing a different section of their mini museum, including making their own original small-scale artwork. Use a range of materials to design wallpaper, install flooring and build a sculpture garden. The final day of class will include creating admission tickets and brochures, then taking a tour of classmates’ museums. All materials included. Dress for mess!
