Description

[bottom left in graphite]: Elsa Laubach JemneJemne began her art studies in Minnesota before continuing at PAFA. Oakley was one of her teachers. After graduating, Jemne traveled to Europe before returning to Minnesota. She is best known for the murals she created for public buildings. She married Magnus Jemne, a Minnesota architect, with whom she sometime collaborated.
