Heniker- / Heaton / poet / illmntd. by / V.O.While working in the British Home Civil Service in London shortly before World War II, Peter Henniker-Heaton was diagnosed with a rare leg paralysis that left him unable to stand or walk. During his tenth year of paralysis, Henniker-Heaton, a Sunday school teacher and part-time poet, read Mary Baker Eddy’s Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and eventually regained use of his legs. He credited his recovery to prayer.
