Description

Martino uses a striking green and orange line to suggest a strip of exposed earth that separates an icy river from a snow-covered road. The quaint bridge and house in the distance may represent the end of a long journey home or a warm place to rest before more travel. Martino would often visit Bucks County in search of landscape subjects.
